🔸 Pencil Grip (Recommended)

Hold the handle with the thumb and index finger, resting on the fleshy base. Avoid extending too far along the index finger to prevent instability.

Attaching a Blade:

1. Hold handle in left hand (bayonet fitting uppermost).
2. Use pliers to hold blade, avoiding contact with cutting edge.
3. Place blade partially over fitting and align slots.
4. Slide until blade clicks into locked position.
5. Tip: Slightly flex blade upward for easier insertion.

Detaching a Blade:

1. Grip blade with pliers at Point A, edge facing away.
2. Direct blade downward, away from your body.
3. Lift back edge with pliers and slide off.
4. Preferred: Use a Swann-Morton blade remover for safety.

• Clean immediately after use with warm water to remove biological debris
• Ultrasonic cleaning is highly recommended
• Use only certified disinfectants
• Ensure complete drying before autoclaving
